Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada

Comprehensive Cancer Centers is a multi-specialty practice that provides medical oncology, hematology, radiation oncology, breast surgery, pulmonary medicine, cancer genetic counseling and clinical research services at several locations in Southern Nevada. The practice has been providing oncology services to Southern Nevada residents and visitors for more than 40 years.

The practice was formed in 2000 when Southwest Cancer Clinic and Nevada Radiation Oncology Centers united to maximize the delivery of cancer fighting treatments and therapies. In 2002, these two groups united under one name — Comprehensive Cancer Centers. The practice partners with The US Oncology Network, UCLA TRIO-US, USC, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and leading pharmaceutical companies to offer groundbreaking research to its patients.

Nevada Cancer Institute (NVCI) was founded in 2002 and became part of UC San Diego Health in 2012. The Institute served patients throughout the greater Las Vegas area, offering full-service clinics in Summerlin, Nevada, and at University Medical Center.

NVCI provided inpatient treatment services such as chemotherapy, radiation and diagnostic imaging services, as well as an array of clinical trials. The Institute’s mobile screening unit, the Hope Coach, provided mammography services throughout the state. In 2013, Roseman University completed a merger with the former Nevada Cancer Institute Foundation and the Ralph and Betty Engelstad Research Building became the home for Roseman’s College of Medicine in Summerlin.
