MedStar Washington Hospital Center is a large private hospital located in Washington, D.C. It is a member of MedStar Health and is licensed for 926 beds. The hospital offers primary, secondary, and tertiary care services to adult and neonatal patients and also serves as a teaching hospital for Georgetown University School of Medicine.

The hospital occupies a 47-acre campus in Northwest Washington that it shares with three other medical facilities. The hospital was founded on March 10, 1958 when three specialty hospitals merged into one. MedStar Washington Hospital Center is a national leader in the research, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular disease.
