Dr. Alan Dal Pra is an Assistant Professor and Associate Director of Clinical Research in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He also serves as Medical Director of Radiation Oncology at Sylvester at Coral Gables, The Lennar Foundation Medical Center.

He obtained his Medical Degree from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and underwent Radiation Oncology specialty training in Brazil and Canada. He has postdoctoral training and fellowship in Genitourinary Oncology at McGill University and at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, University of Toronto.

Before joining the faculty at the University of Miami, Dr. Dal Pra worked in Switzerland as a senior consultant and investigator. He is the principal investigator of a European multicenter trial and investigator or co-investigator of several prospective studies. He has published research in several journals and serves as an ad-hoc reviewer and Associate Editor for the British Journal of Radiology. Dr. Dal Pra's clinical specialties include genitourinary and thoracic tumors.
