About Anne Tsao

Anne S. Tsao, MD is a Vice President of Academic Affairs and a Professor of Thoracic/Head and Neck Medical Oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. She holds several leadership positions within the Cancer Center, including Thoracic Section Chief, Director of Thoracic Chemo-Radiation Program and Director of Mesothelioma Program, Clinical Medical Director and also holds an MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Dr. Tsao received her medical degree from the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine, and completed her fellowship in Medical Oncology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Medical Oncology. Dr. Tsao's research focuses on the development of new therapies for thoracic malignancies, with an emphasis on mesothelioma and lung cancer.
