About Antoinette Wozniak

Dr. Antoinette Wozniak is a Visiting Professor of Medicine and Associate Director of Clinical Research at the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. She is the Director of the Lung Cancer Disease Unit and Co-Director of the UPMC Lung Cancer Center of Excellence.

She received her BS from Niagara University in 1973 and her MD from State University of New York at Buffalo in 1977.

She completed her internship, residency, and chief medical residency at SUNY at Buffalo Affiliated Hospitals and her fellowship at the University of Florida, Department of Medicine. Dr. Wozniak has been involved in multiple clinical trials, including national trials from the Southwest Oncology Group, NCI sponsored studies, and pharmaceutical trials.

Her focus of clinical research has been on lung cancer and mesothelioma. She also previously collaborated on observational and secondary data analysis focused studies of lung cancer. Dr. Wozniak is a clinical medical oncologist with over 30 years of experience. Her clinical interests are Lung Cancer (Small Cell and Non-Small Cell), Mesothelioma and Thymus Gland Cancer.
