About David Carbone

Dr. David P Carbone is a medical oncologist who specializes in creating cutting-edge treatments for patients with lung cancer. He is a professor of internal medicine at The Ohio State University, co-leader of the Translational Therapeutics Program at the OSUCCC-James, and the President of the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC).

He is an expert in proteomic and expression array signature development, genetics, immunotherapy, and tumor-associated immunosuppression mechanisms in lung cancer. He has served as an investigator on multiple clinical trials, authored over 250 peer-reviewed publications, and held several leadership positions within the medical community. Dr. Carbone is dedicated to providing personalized care to every lung cancer patient through a multidisciplinary team approach at the Ohio State Brain and Spine Hospital.
