About Frank Mott

Dr. Frank E. Mott is an Associate Professor at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, where he specializes in thoracic and head and neck medical oncology.

His research interests include clinical trials for the treatment and prevention of HPV-associated head and neck cancers, targeted therapies in combination with chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy, sino-nasal and nasopharynx cancers, and patient reported outcomes in thoracic and head and neck cancers. He also has a special interest in palliative care interventions and end-of-life management for patients with thoracic and head and neck cancer.

Dr. Mott received his MD from Texas A&M University College of Medicine and completed his postgraduate training at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He is board-certified in medical oncology and internal medicine. He is an active member of the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center Network Thoracic/Head and Neck Medical Oncology Representative.
