About Jun Zhang
Dr. Jun Zhang is a medical oncologist who specializes in the treatment of head and neck, thoracic, and general medical oncology. She is a member of Houston Methodist Oncology Partners and is dedicated to providing her patients with the highest quality care and compassion. Her research interests focus on cancer immunotherapy and the development of innovative therapies for lung, head and neck, bladder, and kidney cancer.
Dr. Zhang is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, and Hematology. She graduated from Hunan Medical University in China in 1992 and completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York and New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, North Carolina. She also completed a fellowship in Medical Oncology and Hematology at Brody School of Medicine, East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina in 2009.
Dr. Zhang practices at Houston Methodist Hospital and is a member of the Houston Methodist Dr. Mary and Ron Neal Cancer Center. She has expertise in the treatment of lung, head and neck, malignant mesothelioma, bladder, and kidney cancer.
