About Konstantin H. Dragnev

Dr. Konstantin Dragnev is a medical oncologist with a focus on molecularly targeted therapies and lung cancer prevention. He is currently the Interim Deputy Director and Associate Director for Clinical Research at the Dartmouth Cancer Center, and a Professor of Medicine at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. He joined the center in 1999. He speaks Bulgarian and English.

Dr. Dragnev has been named a Top Doctor by Castle Connolly and published in New Hampshire Magazine for four consecutive years, from 2019 to 2022. He received his MD from the Higher Institute of Medicine in Sofia, Bulgaria in 1987.

He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the District Hospital in Lukovit, Bulgaria and Baylor College of Medicine Associated Hospitals in Houston, Texas. He also completed fellowship training in Oncology at the Bulgarian Medical Academy in Sofia, Research at the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, Maryland, and Hematology Oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York and Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. He is Board Certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology.
