Dr. Mark A. Socinski is a medical oncologist and the Executive Director of Thoracic Cancer at AdventHealth Medical Group. He specializes in thoracic malignancies, including small cell and non-small cell lung cancer and mesothelioma.

He is an internationally recognized expert in the development of novel chemotherapy agents and treatment strategies for advanced lung cancer, focusing on personalized medicine and molecular biomarkers in treatment.

He has board certification and fellowship training in medical oncology, he was a former Co-Chair of the Thoracic Malignancies Steering Committee for the National Cancer Institute, a Member of the Respiratory Core Committee of the Cancer and Leukemia Group B (Alliance), instrumental in the development of many cooperative clinical trials and is the Executive Medical Director of the AdventHealth Cancer Institute.
