About Paul L. Feingold
Originally from New York City, Dr. Paul L. Feingold, M.D., has lived in several places up and down the East Coast. He is married to a specialist in women’s health and is a father to two children who share the same passionate approach to life as their parents.
Dr. Feingold was immediately drawn to thoracic and foregut surgery after his first exposure at Emory University. Since then, his passion for this specialty has only intensified, which he considers a true calling. The field's rapid growth and advancement, coupled with the use of minimally invasive techniques alongside new medical treatments, make it an exceptionally exciting specialty. He cherishes the opportunity to make an immediate positive impact on his patients’ quality of life and is eager to utilize the latest tools and resources to treat both benign and malignant diseases. He appreciates the ability to leverage all the resources available at URMC to advance the field and assist patients.
Patients are at the core of what drew Dr. Feingold to medicine and specifically to the specialty of thoracic surgery. He finds the greatest gratification in adopting a team approach to achieve the best possible outcomes for his patients. He considers it an honor to treat patients with thoracic and foregut diseases and is committed to using every possible means to help patients achieve their health goals.
He currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery, specializing in Thoracic (SMD).
