About R. Taylor Ripley
Dr. Robert Taylor Ripley is an Associate Professor of Surgery at the Division of Thoracic Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He serves as the Director of the Mesothelioma Treatment Center at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center and is a Co-Editor of Seminars in Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery. He is also a Co-Director of the Thoracic Oncology Working Group at the Dan L Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center and a member of Baylor College of Medicine.
Dr. Ripley's education includes a Fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center/New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center, a Residency at University of Colorado Denver, and an MD from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He also holds certifications from the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.
