About Roy H. Decker
Dr. Roy H. Decker is a radiation oncologist at Yale Medicine and the director of the Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT) Program. He specializes in providing radiotherapy for patients with thoracic malignancies, including lung cancer and melanoma, as well as non-melanoma skin cancers.
Dr. Decker is dedicated to establishing a close and supportive relationship with his patients and helping to alleviate their concerns during treatment by explaining their options in a step-by-step manner.
Additionally, Dr. Decker is a professor of Therapeutic Radiology at Yale School of Medicine, where he conducts research and uses modern radiation technology to improve patients' quality of life. Dr. Decker completed his MD/PhD at the Medical College of Virginia and his residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He currently practices at Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale New Haven, located at 35 Park Street, Ste Lower Level, New Haven, CT 06511.
