About Syed Osman Ali

Dr. Syed Osman Ali is a cardiothoracic surgeon affiliated with Tampa General Hospital. He has received recognition for his work and has held multiple leadership positions, including Chief of Cardiovascular and Thoracic surgery at MacNeal Hospital/ Loyola health system from 2017-2020, Co-Chair of cardiovascular quality committee Loyola/ Macneal Hospital from 2018-2020, Chicago magazine Top Doctors award in 2020 and Castle Connolly Top Doctor Chicago in 2019.

Dr. Ali completed his education and training at some of the most reputable institutions in the country. He completed a Fellowship in Thoracic Surgery at Brigham and Womens Hospital, Harvard Medical School in 2012, a Fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Loyola University Medical Center in 2010, a Residency in Surgery at University of Connecticut School of Medicine in 2008, an Internship in Surgery at University of Connecticut School of Medicine in 2004 and his Medical School at Aga Khan University Medical College in 2000.
