About Walter J. Scott

Dr. Walter J. Scott is a Professor and Chief of the Division of Thoracic Surgery at Abington-Jefferson Health. He received his medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and is board certified in Surgery and Thoracic Surgery.

He has published multiple research papers on topics such as racial disparities in surgery for esophageal cancer, benefits of supplemental jejunostomy tube feeding during neoadjuvant therapy in patients with esophageal cancer, and determinants of complete resection of thymoma by minimally invasive and open thymectomy.
